Is my vault content uploaded anywhere?
No. Your vault content is encrypted and stored only on your device. It is never uploaded to us or a third party.
What happens if I forget my PIN?
You can add an optional recovery email that is stored encrypted on your device. Because content is stored locally and encrypted, keep your PIN safe — a lost PIN can mean loss of access to encrypted content.
Does Torchlight show ads?
The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. You can remove ads and unlock premium features through an in-app purchase.
Which file types can I store?
Photos, videos, audio files, text notes, and documents such as PDF and Word (DOCX).
How do I delete everything?
Use "Clear All Vault Data" in Settings to permanently remove all vault content, your PIN, and login activity from your device. Uninstalling the app also removes local app data.
